Digital Club Project

In the Finnish Musicians’ Union’s Digital Club project the G Livelab concept is being developed. Launched in February 2022, the project is funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture’s (OKM) structural support, which promotes the renewal and digitalization of cultural and creative sector services, production, and operating models. The project runs between 2022 and 2024 and is funded by the European Union’s structural support.

In the Digital Club project, a digital club concept is being created and piloted. The goal is to build a digital software and content package covering the key elements of the G Livelab concept:

The Digital Club project aims to translate the progressive concept of G Livelab clubs into a digital format. The desired outcome is a state-of-the-art music club concept with optimal operations from the perspectives of both the audience, performers, and staff. The aim is also to promote the development and renewal of the entire industry in the longer term by leveraging the results of the project. The concept and club implementations are replicable and scalable, not only in Finland but elsewhere as well.
