SKAALA Project

SKAALA was a project implemented in collaboration between the Finnish Musicians’ Union and the Finnish Agents and Promoters Association (SOA), aimed at assessing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the live music industry in its first phase. Following this, the SKAALA follow-up project aimed to develop support structures for the well-being of freelance musicians.

The project was part of the state-funded TYÖ2030 workplace development program, which aimed to create better dialogue and improve well-being in Finnish workplaces. The SKAALA project provided various services to meet the post-pandemic needs and generated information and initiatives for the development of well-being structures in the cultural and event industries.
